A team headed by a recipient of three Gold Medals and six awards in Aero modeling field Mr. R. N. Joshi. He has practical expertise in building each type of aero models, from scratch to one of the biggest aero model in Asia. He has specialization in Night Flying & illuminated banner towing by own innovation, one of its kind in Asia. He has conducted maximum number of coaching classes for the students all over the country at many places. His work has been appreciated overseas . He is the first person to be accredited by Chhattisgarh Aviation Academy to design syllabus for aero modeling training, to conduct shows & training. 

Entire range of aero models are available to impart aero modeling training to elementary intermediate, advance levels. Mr. Umesh Raut who is a recipient of two Gold Medals & two trophies at all India level aero modeling competitions is a co-worker in all our projects. 

These aero models has been designed and constructed by Mr. Rajesh N. Joshi who is winner of Three Gold medals & five awards in the field of Aeromodelling. He has been carrying out these activities for the last fifteen years with maximum safety & precaution. All due permission needs to be obtained in writing prior to the activites.

Aeromodelling is an art of making various types of aero models and models to fly then with various methods.

Aeromodelling is one of the finest hobbies, which is popular in the world. It has often been starting point for many Pilots and Aeronautical Engineers.

Aeromodeling Shows / Demonstration 

We have A to Z types of aero models. We have given more than 300 shows all over the country.

Events – Chuck gliders, Catapult gliders.These models are without motors. But these are the very basic and the first step towards aero modeling field. They are launched by hand. The model goes more than 50’ height & glides back.

Catapult Glider

This Model is made out of balsa wood. This model is a free flight glider categorie because there is no control surface on model. But the model is designed in such a way that the model flies on its own.

There is a typical method of launching. The model is launched by streahing 10' rubber tube. The model can climb upto 100' high and can glide up to 20 seconds.

Real fun lies in making & flying by your own hands. 

These are not available in the market (in ready to fly condition). One needs to assemble and fly them.

Rubber Powered Glider

This is a Thermacol glider which has a plastic propeller which is powered with the help of a Rubber Band. The rubber streches from the propeller to the end of the body, through the body of the glider. The propeller is rotated clock wise ( about 150 turns ) and this stored energy is converted when the propeller rotates in the anticlock wise directions. 

Control line Aerobatics

This model is flown by using two strings. The model has only one control i.e. Elevator by which the model moves up & down.

The up & down movement of the model is controlled by a very gradual movement of the wrist of the flier (who holds the handle). 

Radio Control Glider 

Powered by 2.5cc glow plug engine. Model is equipped with 3 controls. 

i) Elevator, ii) Ruddur, iii) Throttle / Accelerator.

This model is hand launched. This can fly up to 2500' height. Engine is stopped after 4 minutes & the glider is landed back smoothly on ground.

Radio Control Power / Aerobatic Model - Basic Trainer Model. 

Model is powered by 6cc glow plug engine. 4 Controls are used to control this model . 

i) Elevator, ii) Ailerons, iii) Rudder, iv) Throttle

This model can perform Loops, Rolls, Stall turns, Inverted flight etc.

Radio Control Flying Disc

We have 3 types of Flying Discs.

a) Size - 4' diameter powered by 6cc glowplug engine.

b) Size - 5' diameter powered by 15cc glowplug engine.

The speciality of these disc is that these are capable of flying manoeuvering in comparatively smaller grounds where Radio Control Aero Model cant take of & land. It can fly on Volley Ball ground.

It can carry 300 - 500 gms of flowers coloured petals and tow a small banner 1' X 10' easily.

Bi - Plane

This model has two sets of wings one below the main body & one wing above the main body.

These types of real planes were used in World War Two.

the purpose was to have more maneuverability & at the same time more speed because of smaller wing span.

The flying looks more graceful than normal Aero plane. This is an additional event during the show.

Radio Controled Helicopter 

This is a replica of realistic helicopter.  This has collective pitch & Cyclic. 

This can also do banner towing and flower dropping (day & night). It needs very less space for flying.

Advanced Aerobotic

These models are powered by 60, 90 or 50cc petrol engine can performs dramatic maneuvers & can generate smoke while performing stunts.

Balloon Bursting

In this event of a show various planes are use to burst balloons which are tied to the ground. Since this looks very thrilling, it is enjoyed by the spectators.

Multicoloured Ribbon

In this event, multicoloured shining ribbon (a long trail of ribbon) is tied behind a model and flown in the air. It forms an excellent sight to view for the spectators.

Mini Parachute/chocolates dropping

Mini parachutes &/or Chocolates may be dropped from a model. It is an attraction for kids.

Sea Plane

Sea plane is an aircraft which can take off and land on water surface. It has 'floats' instead of normal wheels because of which it can take off and land on water bodies such as ponds, lakes & slow flowing rivers. We were the pioneers in this activity.

After gaining the basic knowledge in Aeromodelling its time to teach them following theory and practical.

Theory: - a) Types of wings & their position

b) Alignment of the parts

c) Effects of wrong alignment

Practical Work: - In this intermediate course we would like to focus more on practical, which will automatically enhance their knowledge.

d) Building of Tow line Glider Model: - This is a free flight model that is called as “TOW LINE GLIDER”

Aim is to give them exposure of the internal parts of the wings & their use. Such as leading edge, trailing edge, main spar, di-hydral base & the ribs. Students enjoy this construction. A group of four students is ideal for construction of this type of model.

e) Balancing the Model: - After completion of model students will be taught how to balance & trim the glider before test flight. These models are very sensitive. A little change in configuration & alignment is going to make a drasting change in the performance in the behavior or the flying characteristics of model.

How it works?

Once the model is constructed completed and well treamed it is ready to fly. Here one launcher and one flyer are required. The launcher holds the model above the head by keeping the model in head wind direction below the fuselage there is hook which is ‘L’ shaped a key chain ring which is attached to the string 150 feet long is used & this ring is fixed to the L’ shaped hook.

The flier pulls the other end of the string slowly. The flier 

& the launcher starts walking & they increases the speed after few steps the launcher releases the model and the model climbs height.

         The models are designed in such a way they fly on their own. The model gains height & movement the model comes to 12 O” clock position the metal ring along with strong fall down & the model is free.

It will fly the way you trim it.

Trimming is the most important factor in this type. Whatever students learn in Basic course all those concept & principles are required to fly this models.

This Towline model is a very good tool or example, which will make them understand many factors.


After completion of Towline glider the students will be also given to make & fly. Control line basic model, which flies around the flier with the help of 3.2 CC diesel engines.

This event will also make them understand the effect of elevator. They will get the exact feel of controls. This training involves flying, damages, repairing work; loss of spares i.e. props etc.

Each student can be given minimum of 10 sorties each, which is enough to understand the concept.

Duration: - 04 day for Towline and 03 days for Control line flies approx.

Total 7 days for Intermediate course

The time required for this course may vary since it is pilot project an average time is mentioned.

Result: - Their knowledge will be improved by completing this course. It’s extremely good to make a model by your hand and see them fly in the air. This activity will thrill them and they will definitely be interested in doing additional work in this field.

 After completion of Basic & Intermediate, course student will have enough knowledge about an aeroplane. How? And Why? Its characteristics and behavior 

He will understand the technical language used by instructor. Now it is time to implement the knowledge gained by previous courses.


 In this course they are acting like a pilot. Whatever the command they will give through the transmitter it will be received by the model & the model will perform / behave accordingly.

The flying technique is same the inputs and behavior are same & hence it will open up their mind & will understand what is what.

Apart from gaining technical knowledge student will desire immense pleasure and enjoyment through this hobby. More than anything it’s a hobby of fun & enjoyment.

A student who does Aeromodelling properly he picks up faster then other when time comes to fly a real aeroplane.

1. Radio control glider flying.

2. No. of flights – 60 sorties

3. Duration of each flight – 5Min each

4. 8 sorties per students per day

5. Maximum two students can be taught by one instructor

6. Flying can be done in the morning and evening hrs.

7. All the equipments will be supplied by us.

8. We will be not be responsible for any kind of loss during the fly.

9. The student is taught R/C glider Approx. 60 sorties for SOLO.

10. The mental stress, actual damages and repairing is more in R/C flying.

11. The Fees for R/C glider can be worked out depending on the strength of students.
